Late-night food in Porto: open until 7 a.m. downtown

Short answer: Tropical Global Restaurante, at Rua de Sampaio Bruno 10, is open every day from 11:00 to 07:00, which makes it an option for eating in the small hours in downtown Porto. The kitchen runs through the night, with Indian food, kebab and falafel, pizza, francesinha and burgers. It’s a halal-certified restaurant between the São Bento and Aliados stations, and you can eat in or order on WhatsApp and pick up at the counter.

What time does Tropical Global close?

At 7:00 in the morning, every day. We open at 11:00, so we’re only closed between 7 and 11 a.m. On the website, the “Open now” badge always shows the current status in Portugal’s time.

What can you eat late at night?

The same five-kitchen menu:

  • India: curry, biryani, naan and paratha
  • Kebab and falafel: döner, dürüm, pita, döner box and kapsalon
  • Pizza: 21 kinds, from Margherita to Four Seasons
  • Portugal: francesinha with egg and fries, bacalhau à Brás, octopus lagareiro style
  • Burgers and more: burgers, pasta, salads, snacks and fried bites

For groups, it’s the easiest way to keep everyone happy: each person orders from the kitchen they fancy.

Can I order for pickup in the middle of the night?

Yes. Open the menu, tap + on the dishes you want, add your name and pickup time, and send the order on WhatsApp — the message is already written. We confirm there and you pay at the counter when you collect. We don’t deliver.

How do I get to Rua de Sampaio Bruno?

The street is in the heart of downtown (Baixa), a few minutes’ walk from the São Bento and Aliados metro stations (line D, yellow) and São Bento train station. See the map and full hours on the Visit page.

Do I need to book?

No — most guests walk in. For large groups, book on WhatsApp: +351 920 642 821. More questions? See the FAQ.
